"The Introduction" - to "The Review" of "The Forward"
Bismillahir-Rahmanir-Rahim. In the name of God, the Most Merciful, the Most Compassionate. Al-salam 'alaykum wa-rahmat Allah wa-barakatuhu kulluhu. Wa 'alaykum al-salam wa-rahmat Allah wa-barakatuhu kulluhu. May all the peace, the beneficence, and the blessing of God be upon us all. May God help us all.
My love you (anbu) - Shaikh Muhaiyaddeen (Louie Beutler).
Here is a review of the "Forward" of the book, "The Pearl of Wisdom" by this child, Shaikh Muhaiyaddeen (Louie Beutler), liivng at the feet of our Father, Shaikh Muhammad Rahim Bawa Muhaiyaddeen (may God be pleased with Him), and of God within Him), which for this child is just an extension by Bawa of the original discourse given to us by Bawa, not as something coming from this child.
1. The True "Shaikh-Disciple Relationship" Within Us - which determines how we will spend eternity, either as "One with" God within us or as "separate from" God within us, the choice is ours, not God's, because God has already made His choice, and He chose "Oneness with" us, and that is why we are now alive within Him, in ignorance of "who we truly are", and of "where we truly are", and of "what is truly happening" in our life, for in truth we are the "Seed of God" within the "Earth of God" or the Creation of God within us, and as such we are "God happening" within the Creation of God within us, if we like, if like the apple seed we germinate, if we join with the "Earth of God" within us, with the Creation of God within us, to die to the false life on the "outside" of us, so the true life within us can live, so the "Tree of God" within the "Earth of God" within us can occur within us, and bear the "Fruits of God" within us, for the benefit of all of the Creation of God within us. Amen.
For as Bawa teaches us about the true "Shaikh-Disciple Relationship", starting on page 105, in "Chapter 30", "The Mystical Meaning of Man's Body", from the book, "The Pearl of Wisdom",
About the true "Shaikh-Disciple Relationship" between "us", Bawa within us, and God within Him, about the role that fate and the 7 openings in our body play in our life, that in truth "Life is the victory of wisdom reasoning over fate", that in truth we are not controlled by fate, as many people in the world believe, but rather fate is but the stage of drama patiently and lovingly created by God within us, as part of the "School of Contrasts" within us, upon which we learn our lessons and then, if we like, transcend everything that currently "separates us" from God within us, allowing us to become again "One with" God within us, but this time with an understanding of that "Oneness" so it will never leave us again, and doing all of this before we physically die to the "outside" of us, if that be our true intention, . Amen.
That is, if our true intention is to become "One with" God within us, before we die to the "outside" of us, and in this way, our next life, our eternal life is in our hands, not in fate's hand or even in God's hand, with everything occurring within us within the "justice of God" within us.
For as Bawa teaches us,
"The justice of God is that whatever we intend is what we will receive."
2. "The Mystical Meaning of Man's Body" - which if we can join with God within us, to realize it, before we physically die to the "outside" of us, will allow God within us to complete what He has already started within us, which is to reveal God to God within us, for the benefit of all of the Creation of God within us. Amen
"The Beginning"
"Allah has by His grace adorned the body of man with these twenty-eight letters. They adorn the head, forehead, brain, eye, ear, nose, throat, shoulder, shoulder joint, throat -junction (Adam's Apple), spine, chest, stomach, hip, knee-cap, and feet".
Allah has enlivened and filled this body with many substances. Buried inside man's body are the good and the bad".
Dear, Son, if you wish to differentiate between good and bad and clarify yourself, you should associate with a virtuous Guru, perform His bidding, accept His exhortations, record and preserve them in the book of your heart".
Then the Master Guru will take that tablet of the heart, read it, and advise you further. He will teach you the secret of assembling the body of man with the twenty-eight letters of grace on each spot.
He will show you how to enliven each spot, how to give life to it, how to speak tactfully, how to dismantle the body parts, and how to re-assemble them. In this state, my Son, if you lean the "magic" of dismantling the human body, and re-assembling it, you will witness the Primal One.
Dear Son, there are magical numbers to enliven each letter. Learn these numbers from the Guru. Further, this magic contains three Sacred Words. My Son, you should eliminate earth, woman, and gold from your body. No sooner the Guru sees you in this purified state, he will instruct you in the magic of the three Sacred Words".
"Be aloof (alone), Be hungry (for knowledge), Be alert (awake)."
[Note: His Holiness told us that being alone means "Only God is There", to be hungry is to awaken and liberate the "Search of the Soul" within us for "Oneness with" God within us, and to be awake is to have disappeared within the heart of the Guru within us so the world is no longer within us, even if we are still living within the world. Amen]
If you diligently observe these three, you will have the Grace of Allah. The Guru's Secret is this. Learn this.
Once you have mastered this magic, your Guru will impart to you His Grace, the
Gnnana Magic (the Divine Word).
The Gnnana Magic, O Son, is comprised of seven sakthis (forces). These seven
forces exist as seven days. Seven grahas (planets) are associated with the seven days. They are ....

My dear Son, God has opened the hidden elements of water, fire, and air in man's body, and placed within them the thirty-three points, where the seven sakthis (forces) reside, and shine as thirty-three potentialities.
The other potentialities, earth (body of man), and urine (the resultant resonance of the earth being churned into a paste of clay), together with the perfected life-force resonate as a total of thirty-six potentialities in man.
The first thirty-three potentialities exist within the bodies of cattle, goat, cow, dog, fox, animal, bird, demon, man and all other lives and pave the way for their life and death. All the essential qualities in the combination of the thirty-six potentialities open the door of Maya (delusion) of earth, woman, and gold.
They enter the house of the body and cause vibrations. The dramas they perform are those of arrogance, religion, and race. Those who fully realize the meaning of the end of these dramas, which view them, who know them, who clarify them and who separate themselves from these, are the Manu-eesans (Man-the-divine or True Man). They possess ninety-six potentialities, each of which is the life of man.
It is the same One God who performs the three functions of Creation, of Sustenance, and of Destruction, without failing even an atom within an atom. Manu-eesan (Man-the -divine or True Man) within his life time, between birth and death, gets clarified of what needs to be clarified, knows what needs to be known, triumphs over the ninety-six potentialities, and wins over the saktis (forces) of the seven sapta rishis.
The meaning of the sapta rishis is the essence of the seven days. The sapta rishis are the sakthis (forces) of the seven grahas (planets). Each of these sakthis (forces) rules a particular day with strong governance. These seven are very powerful planets in man's life. They rule the (7x2) fourteen universes.
Their external appearance said to be the upper seven universes, and the lower seven universes are said to be hidden. The middle is the earth which we occupy.
My Son, we can refer to them as fifteen universes. If you know yourself, you will know these fifteen universes within you. Your foot, ankle, thigh, (hip), navel, belly, and stomach are the seven lower universes. They are the boundaries of the hell that belongs to arrogance, which is one of those hells that destroy man.
The middle is the earth in which we live. It is the heart of the universes. The upper seven universes are the throat, neck, mouth, heart, eye, forehead, and head. They signify the air atmosphere, cloud atmosphere, water atmosphere, Mars atmosphere, Moon atmosphere, Constellation atmosphere, and Sun atmosphere. The seven devas shine as the seven sapta rishis - seven sakthis (forces).
The air atmosphere is governed by Angel Israfil, the cloud atmosphere by Izra'il, the Angel of Death (Yaman), the water atmosphere by Angel Mika'il (Michael) or the deity Varuna, the Mars atmosphere by the Angel of Fire, the Moon atmosphere by the Moon, the Constellation atmosphere by the devas or celestial beings, and the Sun atmosphere by the Sun.
These seven originate from man's mid-part to govern from the chest upward. If you want to learn this, you must be with your true Guru, perform His duties, and obey His words. If you are with Him you will receive the power to see these deities. You will also receive the power to conquer them.
I shall tell you the places these seven deities occupy. Listen, Son. The liver is influenced by Angel Jibril (Gabrial) or Devandran. Angel Mika'il (Michael) is in the spleen. Angel Israfil is in the lungs. Angel Izra'il is between the liver and the bilial duct. Iblis or Satan is in the bilial duct.
Muhammad (Sal.), the Monarch, is in the all-pervading places beyond description. The Emperor (Allah) is between the nose and the forehead.
These seven shine as the sapta rishis who rule the upper seven universes, and reside in the hexagonal abode (heart) in the middle of the chest. They rule as the Kings of the upper chamber. Monarch Muhammad (Sal.) as Minister, and Allah as Emperor, govern the upper chamber of the seven universes. The lower seven worlds referred to as the houses of hell are ruled by Iblis, the Satan.
I shall tell you, Son, the games of danger played in the hell-houses which affect Manu-eesan (Man-the-divine or True Man). Listen.
Being born as Manu-eesan (Man-the-divine or True Man), he associates with the celestial hosts. His birth induces the expansion of the great ocean of birth, and activates the play of destiny.
Listen Son, I shall tell you about the strange games played in the lower seven hell-houses.

Son, it will thus make you do many other things.
After a man is born, it is said by everybody
that his life is controlled by fate.
But Son, it is not so.
Life is the victory of wisdom reasoning over fate.
Further, Son, fate and the grahas (planets) are all involved inside the body.
In order to enlighten you on this, I shall tell you the novelty of the seven days and the seven grahas (planets).

The planets associated with the seven days exert great influence as seven sakthis
(forces), as seven rishis, and as seven celestial beings. Each entity rules its respective day.
It is within these seven days and seven planets that man, goat, cow, fly, ant, and all other eighty-four hundred thousand (84,000,000) lives are born. This being so, people refer to fate in various ways, as it occurs to them. They divide the seven planets into twenty-seven stars.
Allahu ta-aalah Nayan created Aathi Muhammad, and within Him He created (2x7) fourteen universes. He created seven days within Muhammad (Sal.), and within the seven days, the seven planets as seven celestial beings. Allah made Muhammad
(Sal.) appear as a peacock.

The Principle Tenet of Islam - is Tawhid, is the "Affirmation of the Unity of Allah" within us, that in truth "God is One" within us, and that "Only God exists" within us, that is, that in truth "There is nothing other than God" within us, and "something, anything other than God" within us, is only seen within us as part of a dream within us, as part of the world that we see in our collective ignorance as existing on the "outside" of us, which in truth is within us, which in truth we have allowed to grow within us in our ignorance, like weeds growing in a flower garden, which in maturity now prevents anything else, anything of God within us, from growing within us, in the flower garden of our heart, and has become in maturity our current life, the worlds and lives of hell and of evil within us, that we only currently experience as "us" and our dearest loving brothers and sisters living a life of sin, a life of "separation and differences" on the "outside" of us, a world of hell and of evil within us that if not removed from within us, if not replaced with the "Stuff of God" within us, before we physically die to the "outside" of us, then after our physical death becomes the "suffering of the grave" within us, becomes Qiyamah (the Standing Forth; the Day of Judgment) within us, becomes 105 million rebirths within us, with "us" ending as a worm in hell with only one level of consciousness, or feeling, becomes an eternal life of "separation from" God within us. Amen.

1. "Man appearing on this earth, forgets God and falls into many a trap. He does not know to seek himself, although God exists within man. This (book, "The Pearl of Wisdom, or) "Guru Mani", is to explain this concept (of Tawhid) in detail".

Take In Every Word of The "Gift of God" For Your Age - with your wisdom, which is your direct connection to God within you, which is your capacity to understand within you, which is the Qutb or "Power of God" within you, your 6th level of wisdom within you, which is the "wisdom, the ruh (soul), and the grace of God" joined together as One within you, which "together fly round and round looking at the cities of illusion and at the wondrous cities of God within you" (see Page x, in the "Introduction", in the book, "A Mystical Journey"),
"O my beautiful brethren, take in every word of the secrecy of "Guru Mani" with your capacity to understand, and entrench it in your heart".
"It will remove the sorrows of your birth and be of assistance to you. Absorb every word into your clear tranquil heart with incisive feeling and make it into a form".
"Seek to know with clarity the Primal One who stands in stately grace". Face the personal interview test of the Primal One with clarity. Know the manner of the elegant twenty eight letters that form the parts of the human body. Know the glory of the human form and realize the greater bliss of reaching the Primal One".
"Take all the lessons learnt in all the births. Divide them individually, letter by letter, and study each with knowledge. Assimilate these lessons correctly".

3. The Six Kinds of Consciousness Within Us - that currently "separate us from" God within us, and from each other both within us and on the "outside" of us, can become the Six Faces of Clarity within us, of Muhammad (blessing and peace be upon Him) within us, if we join as "One with" God within us, if we join with our wisdom, and with the truth of God within us, before we physically die to the "outside" of us, the Six Wisdoms within us which distinguish the truth that surrounds God within us, discipline the body within us, melt the heart within us, and like the season of spring sprout the six kinds of wisdom within us, the Six Wisdoms within us which are known by several names within each of the religions, including Kandan, Kandampan (Son of Kandan), Murugan {one of the 201 names of Muhammad (Sal.)}, Velan, and Veliraivan (God of Vel) within the Hindi tradition
"Know the esteemed state of the Lone One. Use your wisdom and separate individually the six (kinds of) consciousness. Remove the wasteful substance and make the remedy that shows the immanent Primal Being's beauteous substance, which provides joy in this world and in the hereafter and causes the flood of compassion to beat against the shores".
"Realize this with a melting heart. You will get rid of the sixty four evils and destroy the inherited three evils that follow you. The vast sea of sorrow will disappear. May the courageous beings read "Guru Mani" with determination".
"O my dear children, be informed that this "Guru Mani" will reduce into matchwood the evils that follow you, and the evils that spread. It will erase the residue of committed sins. These graceful words of the Guru are ancient and glorious words. They will tear the entirety of your sins".
"O my children, as precious to me as my eyes, learn the six tastes of the "Guru Mani". Be clarified. Be aware. Feel. Conduct yourself with enlightenment".
"Separate each section, individually. Contemplate in solitude. Each section will reveal and illuminate the truth".
[In addition, in a later chapter of "The Pearl of Wisdom", His Holiness describes the "six kinds of consciousness" within us, and what they become, that is, becoming the "Six faces of clarity of Muhammad (blessing and peace be upon Him) within us, when we separate them individually with our wisdom, and then contemplate on them in solitude with our wisdom, starting at the top of page 72, in "Chapter 21", "The Six Faces", as follow:
"They are the six wisdom's which are beyond estimation, beyond imagination, and beyond pleasure. They distinguish the truth that surrounds God, discipline the body, melt the heart and like the season of spring sprout the six kinds of wisdom. They are known as Kandan, Kandampan (Son of Kandan), Murugan {one of the 201 names of Muhammad (Sal.)}, Velan, and Veliraivan (God of Vel), and by several other names as well. They exist in every religion. People refer to them according to the depths of their understanding. But nobody has discovered the true meaning and reached the end (until now)"]
["A person draws a line and questions what it is. One person replies that it is a line. Another says that it is 1 (the number one). Yet another says that it is I (the Arabic letter Alif). Similarly others say many things. Instead of this, if you stay with a good Guru you will (come to) understand reason, justice, (the) meaning (of virtue), grace, joy, and bliss (aanadam). The meaning of all these will be made clear to you. the qualities of our inner selves will become victorious (over the qualities of our outer selves)"]

wisdom within you, which lives in the place of purity within us, into your mind and
desire within you, which is where you currently live within you, in this way, causing
your mind and desire within you to sit down within you when your wisdom stands up
within us
"Kindle the light of your heart in silence. Forget yourself. Speak and lose yourself.
Talking alone with intensity, say, "He is One". Your soul will elevate itself".
5. "These Are Gracious Words - emerging from the tongue of humble Bawa, the unclean stinking corpse, without his will and without his knowledge"
"These are gracious words emerging from the tongue of humble Bawa, the unclean stinking corpse, without his will and without his knowledge. However, these are words of reason, justice, and virtue. They have the grace of the Primal One".
6. "Forgive Me The Wrong And Accept The Good - So I request".
"If there are any faults or flaws in these words, coming from the tongue of this humble sinful Bawa, bear with me, my brothers who read this, who listen, and who contemplate. Bear with me for the sake of the Primal One, for the sake of Allah".
"Forgive me if there are any faults in the words, in the songs, and in the meaning of the words of this humble Bawa, the lowest of all creations, worse than the dust and the fiber through away by the Primal One. Let those who are knowledgeable correct any faults. Forgive me the wrong and accept the good. So I request".
"My brothers who accept "Guru Mani" which this poor ignorant Bawa sang, and who read it with clarity, are the Creator's beings of grace. They are the great beings of this world. May Allah's grace be upon them".
